WHAT IS A PDF???

PDF (portable document format) is a file format created by Adobe®, initially to provide a standard form for storing and editing printed publishable documents. Because documents in “.pdf” format can easily be seen and printed by users on a variety of computers and platform types, they are common on the World Wide Web.

To expedite the prelimary proofing process via e-mail, Design Solutions often uses PDF Files. PDF is a universal file format that preserves the fonts, images, graphics and layout of any source document, regardless of the application and platform used to create it. Adobe PDF files are compact and complete. They can be shared, viewed and printed by anyone with free Adobe Reader® software.
