WHAT IS AN FTP??

FTP stands for "File Transfer Protocol." Design Solutions has an FTP site, which is a place on the Internet where digital files can be uploaded for retrieval. What does this mean to you? When projects are preflighted and ready to go to press, and electronic transfer is made and the print vendor pulls it off our site.

This eliminates the cost and time associated with burning a CD and delivering files. If you have the need to send us files and/or pictures that are too big to e-mail, call us for a password and instructions on how to use the FTP site. This tool has been particularly usefull in placing client ads in publications all over the nation, as well as expiditing the approval process with our client in China! Never fear... there is no loss of quality or sharpness when sending files this way!
